Untrodden Terratory

Lid off...
16 idle valves and more oil than Dubai.
In the belly of this scrap yard reject lies my Fine Art Degree!

Wow! What is it?

Decisions decisions

In Trim?

Wasn't to happy with my decision on how to present the piece or where I placed it. I felt the show was good but because I failed to make a decision about my own work I just placed it where I thought it looked good in relation to other work which did nothing for it as an individual piece.
I couldn't get hold of any turf so I decided not to show the whole mower and stand it up straight???

To Mow or Not to Mow

So, I got the mower finished. It looks even more pristine than I had envisioned it and has a real dark sterile feel about it.

As the mower is still fully functional I've been playing with idea of a performance  piece. Maybe getting hold of some turf and laying it out in a long strip, around 10 meters or so and just cutting the grass until I get to the end.
Might be a health and safety nightmare in the triangle space though!
Alternatively I could cut the grass before the show starts so all that was left was the remnants of what had happened.

Ingenius?

Pictures a bit blurry but, this guy was walking down the road with his phone cello-taped around his head.

When asked why, he simply said...  "I'm expecting an important call"

Chopchop

A commission that I was asked to do for a new bike shop opening on Old Street, London

I chopped a dutch bike in half and had the broken back end going into the wall above the workshop door and the fully working (light included) front end coming out of the shop front.
