Ingenius?

Pictures a bit blurry but, this guy was walking down the road with his phone cello-taped around his head.

When asked why, he simply said...  "I'm expecting an important call"

Chopchop

A commission that I was asked to do for a new bike shop opening on Old Street, London

I chopped a dutch bike in half and had the broken back end going into the wall above the workshop door and the fully working (light included) front end coming out of the shop front.
...carrying on from re-furb the un-furbable, I been thinking a lot about how we live in such a throw away society, how it's far cheaper and easier to just buy something new that get it repaired.
I am interested in peoples ingenious interventions to over come lifes little problems. Inspired by Richard Wentworths "Making do and Getting by"

I want to make functional sculptures from abandoned bikes, I intend to focus on the transformation and alteration of these bikes to over come problems.

Trolly Bike...

Fill it with beer, food or crap...and take it off road.

No welds!
Made with a drill, grinder, pliers and an adjustable spanner

unexpected gathering

Left a magnet on my desk for a while

Building a Tall Bike

Plans for building a tall bike

the orange lines are where I intend to put extra support.

The head tube angle of these two frames is nearly the same so extending the steer column will hopefully be straight forward.

Somehow I need to brace the top bike to the bottom bike.
