Started to lay the pieces out to get an idea of what everything looks like and noticed that the valves look like chess pieces.

Do I know you?

Taken from the place it was designed to be and presented as something autonomous. This objects function is now obsolete and is no longer part of a system of objects. Only pure form remains.

Wow! What is it?

Decisions decisions

In Trim?

Wasn't to happy with my decision on how to present the piece or where I placed it. I felt the show was good but because I failed to make a decision about my own work I just placed it where I thought it looked good in relation to other work which did nothing for it as an individual piece.
I couldn't get hold of any turf so I decided not to show the whole mower and stand it up straight???

To Mow or Not to Mow

So, I got the mower finished. It looks even more pristine than I had envisioned it and has a real dark sterile feel about it.

As the mower is still fully functional I've been playing with idea of a performance  piece. Maybe getting hold of some turf and laying it out in a long strip, around 10 meters or so and just cutting the grass until I get to the end.
Might be a health and safety nightmare in the triangle space though!
Alternatively I could cut the grass before the show starts so all that was left was the remnants of what had happened.
